What is the relationship between Unity Learning and Ozkar Education?

Ozkar Education is the parent organisation of Unity Learning. Unity Learning was established by the owners of Ozkar Education.

Why do I have to use an email address to sign up on the student application form?

This education service is only given to asylum seekers/refugees and we ask that a document showing your refugee status be uploaded, for this to be done we require a google form completion which necessitates an email.

Through what platform will the course be carried out?

The course will be provided through zoom, detailed instructions will be given prior course commencement.

Can multiple students join the class with the same account?

Unfortunately, we require that each student sign up individually, so we could address your needs directly and can provide help accordingly. We advise that each student join the class individually however, if this is not possible provided that each student has signed up multiple students can attend our classes on the same account.

Does Unity Learning receive any sort of financial support?

No, it consists entirely of volunteers, and has no financial income at the moment.

Will the be any hidden costs of the course?

No, our course is 100% free of charge and there will be no future course fees.

Is there any age restriction?

There are no age restrictions, anyone who is an asylum seeker/refugee can participate.

What are the education levels of the tutors?

The education level of each tutor varies, tutors will teach a certain age group accordingly. Further information regarding our tutors will be found on the about us page.

What happens during the application process for students?

After your application is submitted, we go through a process determining your eligibility for the course such as, your age, choice of language requirement and most importantly your refugee status.
